Best Cookies Ever

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup Quaker Oats
  • 1 cup sifted flour
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1/2 cup butterscotch morsels
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

  1. Measure dry ingredients into a bowl. Mix well.

  2. Stir in oil, egg, and vanilla. Mixture may seem almost dry.

  3. Add butterscotch morsels.

  4. Form into 1" balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet about 2" apart. Bake at 325 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Don't overbake.
